We meet at the Jubilee Hall, Wellow Road, Ollerton (NG22 9AP). We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. In addition, we are trying to start up our hands on evenings - details will appear in the programme.

Please note that Wellow Rd is a 30mph zone and regularly has speed checks.

Most months we have a Professional Demonstrator who demonstrates some aspect of wood turning each month. We own our own lathe a Record Power Coronet Herald with a M33 chuck. We use 2 video cameras to project a view of the demonstrator as he works in close up so that everyone can see in detail what is happening.

The society is open to all irrespective of age, race or gender.

The annual subscription is £20 per person. The year runs from January and those joining during the year pay a correspondingly reduced membership in their first year. There is a monthly attendance fee of £5, which includes refreshments.

Guests are welcome to come and try the club before joining.

Walesby Activity Centre August Bank Holiday weekend.

Stan and friends were at the Centre on Saturday after the Society was invited to demo again we were given a really great and centrally located pitch for our stall. Tony, Mike D, Tom Y and Dave H were there to help Stan set up; a report of the day will be given at the next Woodturning meeting.
